About festival

The History of Louis Armstrong Jazz Festival

Every year we invite famous and prestigious international, Hungarian artists and as well their bands to our international festival organized on the coast of lake Bánk in Nógrád province of Hungary. The Foundation next to the best Hungarian jazz artists also would like to  present world class famous European and overseas jazz musicians which are less well known by Hungarian audience.

This is one of the most prestigious festivals of Hungary which not only  organizes  water stage concert but also it waits its audience with  surprise concert, jam session, gospel concert and other cultural events as photo exhibition, photo contest, slideshow, exhibition of jazz music paintings, dance show and statue unveiling.

It’s important for us that our festival would be outstanding from the richness of the repertoir in it’s spirit and in our invited artist. Our aim is the envision of the legendary festivals of the 80’s which memories are keeping inside our heart.
